INTENTIONAL PRAYER TIME (IPT)  by Kathy Young

Setting aside Wednesdays for us to raise up CCH, asking for God's guidance and continued blessings. 

It's Intentional Prayer Time Wednesday!!

In March, 2019, CCH's Stewardship Ministry began INTENTIONAL PRAYER TIME--"IPT Wednesdays".  Kathy Young or Art Lum sent a reminder every Wednesday via blind copy--recipients' identities were hidden--to the CCH Prayer Warriors, who have been an active prayer community since 2017.

Rather than just to the CCH's Prayer Warriors, appeals for Intentional Prayers will be included in CCH's "Stay Faithful, Stay Connected, Stay Community" Wednesday newsletters during this pandemic.  We ALL should pray together--without ceasing--because "corporate prayer" is so very powerful!!

Our Heavenly Father, we pray:

• that each person receiving this newsletter receives your very special protection.  Keep us well. Strengthen our bonds of faithfulness.  Use us as instruments of your love, reaching out beyond our homes.
• prayers of celebration and thanksgiving--HE IS RISEN!  HE LIVES!!  HALLELUJAH!!  
• prayers of gratitude for the Reverend Dr. Holly Norwick, Hari Bayani, Haylie Schwarzenbach, and Amy Taba for a wonderful Easter Celebration Service.  Praise and heartfelt thanks to Reverend Norwick for ALL the work she masterfully completed on the many YouTube Holy Week offerings for the Community Church of Honolulu.
• to support and acknowledge Associate Pastor Frances Wong, for her faithful work on CCH's twice-a-week newsletters, "Keep Faithful, Keep Connected, Keep Community".  These mailings do just that...while providing vital information, with everyone "on the same page".
• for and to express deep appreciation to CCH Administrator, Ardis Gomes.  Her work has become far more complex and time-consuming because of the ongoing pandemic.  Luckily, Ardis is fueled by God's Spirit and Love.
• to thank our leaders, who have made "for the good of CCH" decisions, encouraging us to worship and "be Community", even though we can't physically gather...maybe for a long time!
• for our sisters and brothers in Christ who need God's special embrace and touch right now.
• for those in your heart.
